The Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk Could Be Dropping Next Year

Does Virgil Abloh ever sleep? Probably not. One of the busiest people in the industry, the American fashion designer has been leading the sneaker game for the past two years, and it doesn’t look like he’s about to stop anytime soon. While his highly coveted “THE TEN” collection reworked already-existing silhouettes, rumour has it that he’ll be teaming up with Nike once again for an all-new model that has yet to be seen.

Dubbed the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk, the shoe will serve as the Louis Vuitton Artistic Director’s first original Swoosh sneaker. Rumoured to be dropping in two colourways, including ‘Black/White/Green Strike‘ and ‘University Gold/Black‘, we have no idea what it’s actually going to look like, but you can bet that it will feature Abloh’s signature deconstructed aesthetic complete with technical verbiage, quoted text, and the legendary zip tie.

In terms of a release date, things are still quite sketchy at the moment, but according to sneaker insider @pyleaks, we should expect theĀ Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk to drop sometime in Summer 2020. While that may seem like a long way away, when you think about it, it’s less than a year away! What do you think the new shoe will look like? Are you hyped? Let us know, and be sure to stay tuned for more info as it develops!
