When we first laid our eyes on the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low back in June, we knew straight away that it was on a must cop. Spotted on the runways of Paris Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh's take on the Dunk Low took the industry completely by storm, and now, four months later, we finally have a release date!
Comprising of three striking colourways, including 'Pine Green', 'University Red', and 'University Gold', each shoe features a unique colour blocked look that plays around with two main shades. Decked out in premium full grain leather, Abloh's love for deconstruction plays a huge part here, with technical verbiage hitting the medials, quoted text on the laces, and subtle orange tags behind the Swooshes.
Of course, you can't talk about this Off-White x Nike collection without mentioning the insane lacing system that's very clearly inspired by mountain-ready trail boots. Consisting of two sets, the classic flat pair ties the shoe together while a rope one zig zags across the shoe for the ultimate lockdown fit. This can be removed, but what would be the point?
Now for that all-important release date, according to sneaker insider @py_leaks, the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low will drop five days before Christmas on December 20th! Ending 2019 with a bang, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair in your rotation!
