The Off-White x Nike Vapor Street Finally Has A Release Date

It's been almost a year since we first got a glimpse of the Off-White x Nike Vapor Street, and we're still waiting for them to drop. Unveiled at Off-White's "TRACK & FIELD"; Spring/Summer 2019 runway showcase, sneakerheads everywhere have been both intrigued and curious about the peculiar shoe, and now, we FINALLY have a release date!

Set to launch in three distinct palettes, including 'Black/Laser Fuchsia', 'Polarized Blue/Tour Yellow', and 'Tour Yellow/Light Bone' the collaborative Vapor Street features a mesh and suede construction that's overlaid by a transparent material, providing the shoe with an ultra glossy sheen. A gigantic Swoosh fires across the side panels, dipping into the extra chunky foam midsole for a deconstructed aesthetic.

Virgil Abloh's love for technical verbiage graces the medials, while quoted texted also makes its presence known on the laces. To round it all off, a unique lacing system that uses two pairs of laces is present, and the bottom is peppered with an array of traction grips. These are actually made of a pretty soft rubber, making these ideal for street use.

According to sneaker insider @pyleaks, the upcoming Off-White x Nike Vapor Street collection will hit shelves on October 3rd and will retail for £140 a pop. Let us know which colourway you'll be grabbing, and make sure you keep your eyes peeled for a raffle guide!
