After almost three months of waiting, the Packer x New Balance 992 has finally been officially unveiled. A silhouette that completely took over 2020 with high heat collaborations from JJJound, KITH, and of course, WTAPS, the Boston-based brand's latest Made In USA release should definitely not be overlooked.
Revealed with the help of New York artist Michael C. Thorpe, Packer's take on the 992 is as premium as it gets. Made with the autumn months in mind, the shoe works on a breathable mesh base and is overlaid with buttery smooth pig suede panels that are dipped in earthy yellow tones.
Metallic silver leather arrives along the toebox and heel for a look that is sure to turn heads, while a 3M-infused "N" logo can be found smack bang in the centre of the laterals and medials. Rounding it all off is an extra chunky EBA midsole that's been fitted with ABZORB technology for comfort and cushioning that's off the charts.
Releasing exclusively on the Packer webstore on September 12th, the Packer x New Balance 992 may get a European release at a later date, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of NB's latest collab, and while you're here, you might as well upgrade your collection with this season's best New Balance sneakers!
