The Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD S1 RYAT "Triple Black" Gets Teased

Following the release of the NMD S1 "Ice Mint", it's safe to say that hype for the lifestyle silhouette is back. Giving the Nomad line a chunky refresh, it looks like Pharrell Williams is about to offer his take on it with the upcoming Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD S1 RYAT "Triple Black" - and here's everything that we know so far!

Pronounced "riot", Skateboard P's take on the latest NMD is unlike anything we've seen before. We actually got a sneak peek of the Hu S1 back in December when it leaked in a "Cloud White" colourway, but we think we prefer this stealthy option a lot more. Teased via his own Instagram page, the "Triple Black" works atop a ballistic mesh base while suede and nubuck elements give an extra premium look and feel. Amidst all of the darkness, Pharrell has added a dash of neon blue into the mix for a pop of contrast that is sure to turn heads.

This blue hue extends all the way up the high-top ankle collar, and you'll also spot a striking orange tone on the oversized heel tab too. Underneath all off this is an extra chunky adidas Boost unit that's slightly see-through so you can check out the tech within. This is then finished off with a Trefoil-emblazoned outsole which harkens back to the iconic Marathon which debuted in the mid-'80s.
