Sneakerheads are no longer stranger to collaborations from the Three Stripes family. After world-renowned American rapper Kanye West teamed up with the sportswear giant to release his legendary Yeezy collection, more prominent names in the industry began to partner up with adidas, notably Italian fashion luxury label Prada. Last year, the duo released the adidas Luna Rossa 21 silhouette, a co-branded model inspired by Prada's Americas Cup sneakers. This time, the pair is returning in an all-black outfit dubbed the Prada x adidas Luna Rossa 21 "Core Black", and we have no doubts that followers of both brands are excited just as we are!
The pair starts with adidas PRIMEGREEN material as the base, which consists of recycled materials. So if sustainability is something you highly consider when choosing a pair of kicks, these instantly tick the box!
The sidewalls are then graced with traditional Three Stripes branding, though very faintly to keep the look minimal. The athletic-slash-luxury setup is complete with a full-length Boost midsole unit down under to provide comfort and a red Prada stripe overlay across the heel to deliver a pop of contrast.
The ensemble is scheduled for a launch via adidas on the 19th of July. So if the Prada x adidas Luna Rossa 21 "Core Black" is on your must-cop list, we highly recommend you stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier as we'll be the first to notify you of all the latest adidas releases. In related news, Kobe Bryant's adidas sneakers are making a comeback next year!
