When the Prada x adidas Luna Rossa 21 made its grand debut at the end of last year, many sneakerheads didn't really know what to think. While the majority praised the collaboration's sleek design and the flawless amalgamation of aesthetics, others thought that it was way too expensive and didn't really appreciate the "Triple White" colourway.
With all that said, it looks like the power duo are set to fix one of these issues as we get our first ever look at a grey version, and we think it looks ten times better than the OG!
Painted in various shades of grey, the Luna Rossa 21 takes inspiration from the America's Cup which was designed to be a sailing shoe. Crafted from expertly engineered PRIMEGREEN panels, it's been given semi-translucent look for a futuristic vibe that we can all appreciate. An enclosed lacing system offers a versatile look and feel, while Three Stripes shoots across the lateral and medial side panels for that classic adidas design.
Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a sleek Boost midsole that's as comfortable as ever. Rubber bumpers at the toebox and heel provide a rugged look, and speaking of which, the back is adorned with co-branded detailing, complete with the luxury label's Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli red stripe.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the Prada x adidas Luna Rossa 21 "Grey" at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection, and in related news, the Pharrell x adidas "Triple Black" Collection features an NMD, Terrex and more!
