It’s shaping up to be a big year for the team over at PUMA, as the German sportswear brand is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Clyde silhouette. Originally introduced as a basketball silhouette for Walt “Clyde” Frazier, a New York Knicks player, the sneakers have transcended into acting as a lifestyle staple, and now PUMA is honouring the model in the form of a collaboration with British retailer END. Clothing. The duo have decked the kicks out in three different colourways, using premium build materials and adding limited-edition branding to make these stand out from the crowd.
Launching in “Red Ivory”, “Navy Ivory” and “Pine Green”, the sneakers are crafted from supple suede and boast design details such as the PUMA Formstrip, END. logos gold hot-stamped onto the heels, and tonal tongue logos. Each colourway will be limited to just 300 pairs, making these a must-have for collectors who are serious about the Clyde. Available from the 26th January, the sneakers will be exclusive to END., so head on over now for your chance to secure a pair before it’s too late.
