The Run DMC x adidas Superstar Has Been Unveiled

Run DMC is synonymous with the iconic adidas Superstar thanks to the rap-band’s penchant for the old-school silhouette and, of course, their song named “My adidas” – and now, the brand with the three stripes is nodding to Run DMC with their very own Run DMC x adidas Superstar. Staying true to the original silhouette with key details and fabrics, this sneaker is an essential addition to any and every collection.

The upper on these sports the classic black and white finish and durable shell toe. Co-branding features on the tongue in Run DMC’s signature red, white and black finish and in a similar design, “Superstar” lettering features on the lateral side just above adidas’s signature three stripes. The red heel is finished off with a tonal trefoil logo and the midsole is fitted with light cushioning to give your foot the support it needs.

Rumoured to drop in the coming months at adidas, the Run DMC x adidas Superstar doesn’t have an official release date yet, but one thing’s for sure – every hip hop fan will want to get their hands on a pair of these sneaks!
