It sure looks like 2022 will be a big year for the Nike Cortez. After taking an on-foot look at the Union LA x Nike Cortez that's set to drop next year, our sources are now telling us that a sacai x Nike Cortez is also coming very soon - and here's everything that we know so far!

The queen of creating high heat hybrids, Chitose Abe's deconstructed silhouettes such as the LDWaffle and the VaporWaffle have been some of the most hyped sneakers in recent memory. While we don't know what the Cortez will look like, we do know that it will feature doubled up features such as the tongue, heel, and midsole. The 1972 classic will also boast two lacing systems and will come packed in a special edition Nike box.
