The sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Protege Ton Soignant" Gets Auctioned For COVID-19 Relief

It's crazy to think that the world has been on lockdown for close to two months now, and as the coronavirus curve slowly but surely flattens, Chitose Abe has unveiled two ultra exclusive sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Protege Ton Soignant" colourways for a good cause.

Made in collaboration with Protege Ton Soignant, a non-profit that helps fashion's biggest names to fundraise, then LDWaffles feature clean nylon and suede construction and are available in two monochromatic colour scheme. With double the Nike Swooshes, tongues, and even midsoles, this continues to be one of the hottest hybrids in existence.

What sets this release apart from the rest, however, is the addition of bold blue laces and the text #ProtegeTonSoignant along the lateral side panel. Literally translating to "protect your caregiver" in French, all proceeds of this launch will immediately go to hospitals in need across France.
