The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Dark Iris" & "Sesame" Finally Get Release Dates

When the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Dark Iris" and "Sesame" first leaked all the way back in summer last year, we knew pretty much straight away that these were going to be a must cop. The next two colourways to hit Chitose Abe's high heat hybrid, we finally have a release date for both pairs - and it's so much sooner than we had previously thought!

Part of the Japanese style icon's Spring 2021 collection, both sacai x Nike sneakers work on top of a versatile nylon base while buttery suede gently wraps around the lacing system and toebox. Around the heel, you'll find a dash of premium grain leather resulting in an insanely premium look and feel. In terms of colourways, the "Dark Iris" is dipped in a purple and orange palette, while the "Sesame" opts for a beige and blue hue.

Of course, you can't talk about these shoes without mentioning the signature deconstructed aesthetic. From the tongues to the midsole to even the Nike Swooshes, everything has been doubled up for a design that is quite literally twice as nice. This is then rounded off with an abundance of co-branding on the insole and around the back.

Now for that all-important release date.
