Well, this is it. Earlier this year, Sean Wotherspoon took to Instagram to confirm that he was indeed working with adidas on a collaborative sneaker. The brainchild of one of the most hyped shoes ever made, namely the Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1 which dominated the industry back in 2018, we're naturally pretty hyped for this release, and here's what we know so far!
Dubbed the "SUPEREARTH", the Round Two co-founder confirmed that his Three Stripes shoe will place a huge emphasis on sustainability and environmentally friendliness. Sharing on social media, the laces are made from 100% recycled paper and the sole is also made from 10% recycled waste. He goes on to say that the entire shoe itself is "100% plant-based".

While the exact silhouette has yet to be officially confirmed, we're assuming that it will be the adidas Superstar. If you take a closer look at the teaser image, you'll find a clean white pair of Superstars that feature the floral artwork that leaked earlier this year. You'll also find the American fashion designer's "SW" logo stitched onto the tongue in green, as well as the word "SUPEREARTH" down below. Of course, this could just be an early sample, but with the legendary silhouette celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, it would be a no-brainer.
Not much else is known about the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar "SUPEREARTH", so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more release info as it develops! If you want a pair in your rotation, make sure you check out our adidas Superstar fit guide to find the perfect size for you!
