Skate Like a Girl is a Seattle-based non-profit organisation that aims to empower individuals, especially young women and trans people, to become strong and confident leaders. This year, the company will be teaming up with the Swoosh for the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low - and we're here for it.
Arriving in a multitude of materials, this special edition Dunk works on top of a rose pink base while deep burgundy panels wrap around the rest of the upper. Premium corduroy graces the tongue, sockliner, and bright red Swoosh, and around the back you'll find a finely stitched handshake motif that nods to the non-profit.
A crisp white midsole sits down below, while a gum rubber outsole adds further contrast to the design. To round it all off, co-branded detailing adorns the tongue complete with an upside-down Nike Swoosh, cementing the coveted collaboration.
While not much else is known about the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro at this moment in time, we can assume these will be exclusive to female sneakerheads. Make sure you hit that "Notify me" button to be kept up-to-date, and while you're here, here's how the Nike SB Dunk went from skateboarding's favourite beater to a streetwear staple!
