Paying homage to the European retailer’s hometown of Stockholm, the Sneakersnstuff x adidas Stockholm GT has just been unveiled as the latest collaborative footwear silhouette between the two brands. SNS is one of the most highly-coveted sneaker retailers of all time, and has worked on some impressive collaborations over the years.
Dressed in retro-looking white and blue, the Stockholm GT is taken directly from the vast adidas archives, with the model originally launched in 1980. Up until now, it’s never seen a re-release, so vintage adidas fans are already getting suitably excited!
The sneaker was originally designed as a handball shoe, and features a Spezial sole that allows for quick turns and manoeuvres while playing the sport. The uppers are crafted from premium quality leather and showcase signature adidas branding in the form of three stripes and trefoil logos.
Special-edition touches include a map of Stockholm printed across the insole, once again paying homage to the retailer’s hometown, and gold-embossed text on the lateral side that reads “SNS GT”. These are certainly a premium-looking collaboration, and we don’t expect them to hang around for long.
The Sneakersntuff x adidas Stockholm GT is set for a global release on the 26th June, exclusively via SNS. If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair, make sure to head over there and enter the raffle now. In the meantime, keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest footwear news and be sure to check out Reebok’s latest silhouette!
