The Social Status x Nike Dunk Low Collab Is Inspired by School Milk Cartons

From iconic sports cars to magic mushrooms, the sky is the limit when it comes to what can be done to the legendary basketball silhouette, and the same can be said about the upcoming Social Status x Nike Dunk Low "Light Soft Pink" and "Burnt Brown".

Rumoured to be inspired by the free milk cartons that you might have got in your school lunch, the "Light Soft Pink" and "Burnt Brown" pay homage to strawberry and chocolate flavours respectively. Crafted from a whole slew of premium materials including luxurious leather and supple suede, probably the most interesting material of them all is the translucent plastic used for the Nike Swoosh that's clearly a nod to the straws that you have to accurately stab into the top of the milk container with all your might.

A smaller Swoosh is finely embroidered on the toebox, while co-branded detailing can be found along the tongue and insole. Ingredients of the shoe are printed on the medial sidewall, and this all comes packaged in a special edition box.
