Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-page optimisations and work closely with the content team to optimise new and existing content.
- Research content gaps using tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console and Google Trends.
- Analyse content performance and provide recommendations on possible improvements.
- Write effective SEO friendly copy for key pages across the site.
- Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for our sites.
- Work with the development team to improve existing and develop new product features.
- Review technical SEO issues using industry leading tools.
- Implement link building and outreach tactics.
Desired Skills & Traits:
- 1-2 years’ experience working in an SEO-focused role.
- Self motivated - you have the ability to ask the right questions and make your own decisions.
- You are passionate about SEO, have a drive to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
- You are curious; you always question ‘why?’ and try to dig deeper into understanding the matter.
- Show a desire for self-improvement through online research and reading.
- A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Google Search Console is desirable.
- An interest in sneakers or experience in the industry is a plus.
