At this point, we’d be shocked if you didn’t have a Dunk in your rotation, but if you do it's totally acceptable to double up on the model when the Swoosh continues to spoil us with colourways such as these. Having dominated the sneaker scene for the past couple of years, the low-key basketball silhouette is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, so here are just a few of the iterations set to drop over the next couple of months.
Whether World Cup fever has got to you, or you just happen to be a fan of a bright and bold colour scheme, the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Brazil” is a real winner. A riff on 2001s classic “Brazil” colourways, this pair sees the classic colour scheme take on a slightly different formation, with a green base giving way to bright yellow overlays instead of being the other way around. With Nike branding hits the tongue and heel tabs, and the vibrant pair comes finished with a white and green sole unit in line with the rest of the theme.
If pastels are more your vibe (and who doesn’t love a pastel Dunk) then be sure to check out this pair as well. Forming part of Nike’s fan-fave Paisley pack, the Nike Dunk Low “Pink Paisley” is one of the prettiest pairs we’ve seen so far, and sees baby pink overlays sit atop a crisp white leather base. From here, the pack's theme comes into play, as a Paisley print Swoosh sweeps its way across the shoe’s sidewalls and adds a pop of personality to the heel tabs.
Next up, if you've yet to cop a “Panda” Dunk, this could be your chance. Well, kind of. Nike’s “Reverse Panda” is set to hit the sneaker shelves again early next year, only this time it comes with a neon twist. Here, tumbled black leather adds a premium touch to the base, while smooth white overlays and a white Nike Swoosh wrap their way around the upper. Finally, bold “Volt” branding touches down on the tongue and heel tabs to complete the look.
If you prefer a more neutral option then the Swoosh has really spoiled you with this pair. The women’s-exclusive Dunk SE “Sandrift” is the perfect earth-toned sneaker and features a smooth leather base and suede overlays, as well as a puffed-up Swoosh for an extra point of detail. Debossed heel and tongue tabs also add a super-premium touch.
Finally, the Dunk High is also off to a strong start in 2023. Having taken on a starring role this year, the high-top silhouette continues to be a focus for the Beaverton brand, with the Dunk High “Multi-Gradient” kicking things off. This pair starts with a white tumbled leather base, and sees gradient-toned overlays fade from pink to yellow to purple, while a solid black Swoosh adds a pop of contrast.
