Without a shadow of a doubt, the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 has got to be one of 2021's hottest collaborations. One of the very first three-way partnerships to come from Hiroshi Fujiwara, with the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle set to come later in the year, it looks like we finally have a release date. If this is a pair that you've been eyeing up since Day Dot, then make sure you read on to find out more!
A hybrid between two of the hottest Air Jordan 1s ever made. This special collab combines the 2014 fragment design x Air Jordan 1 with the 2019 Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1, resulting in one of the most hyped sneakers in history. With a tumbled leather construction, the majority of the AJ1 is painted in a crisp white hue, while Hiroshi Fujiwara's signature "Sport Blue" hue can be found throughout for the perfect amount of contrast.
Co-branded tags make their way to the tongue, while the legendary winged basketball can be found across the ankle. The iconic backwards Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral side panel for that La Flame look that we all know and love, and just below everything is a creamy white Air midsole that gives off a strong vintage vibe. Looking closer you'll find a line of code which is something the godfather of streetwear has been doing a lot of these days, and to round it all off, the Cactus Jack emoji is debossed on the left heel, while fd's double lightning bolt emblem arrives on the right, finalising the design.
One of the most discussed collabs in a very long time, the Travis Scott x fragment design x Nike Air Jordan 1 is rumoured to be dropping on July 29th. Let us know what you think of this shoe, and in related news, a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" could be in the works!
