Nike is certainly no stranger when it comes to customising sneakers through velcro. From the Air Force 1 all the way to the Tuned 1, the Beaverton brand is known for using this classic fastening technology on their flagship models. With that said, it looks like they'll be turning it up a notch with the brand new Nike Air Max 95 "Pollen Rise"!
Paying homage to Seoul’s famed forsythia flowers, this special edition AM95 features a clean white base with yellow and orange panels featuring for a pop of contrast. These panels are infused with velcro, so you can stick whatever you want on them to create a truly one-of-a-kind sneaker.
If you don't have your own velcro patches, don't worry, as the "Pollen Rise" will come accompanied with a huge floral Swoosh as well as a selection of small and medium options. It'll also come with a few Nike Air Max badges as well. To finish it all off, a chunky Air midsole sits down below, accented with green and blue bubbles that bring the whole design together.
Now for that all-important release info! If you want the Nike Air Max 95 "Pollen Rise" in your collection then you've got to listen up. Releasing on March 21st, this will unfortunately be exclusive to South Korea, so if you want a pair then you better call up the plug right now, as these are going to sell out pretty quickly. Let us know what you think of this unique colourway, and while you're here, be sure to check out the Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 "Black Obsidian Mist" that's only available at Footasylum!
