Last year, The Sole Supplier revealed that a secret UNDFTD x Nike shoe was in the works, and now we're taking our first look yet. Made in collaboration with Arrow McLaren SP, the legendary five strike logo will be printed on the ASMP #7 car during the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this year. And in return, the trio will be working on the UNDEFEATED x McLaren x Nike Dunk Low that we've been dreaming of for months.
Spotted on the feet of UNDEFEATED co-founder James Bond in the video below, the Dunk Low bears a striking resemblance to the Air Force 1 "Canteen" from 2006. Featuring a multi-textured construction, the shoe is crafted from various materials including canvas and leather. These are all paints in earthy brown tones for an autumnal aesthetic that's hard to miss.
A deconstructed toebox and lacing system harkens back to the boutique's love of all-things military, while a bright yellow Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels. To round it all off, the iconic five strike motif is finely embroidered at the heel, finalising the special collaborative project.
We're not entirely sure if the UNDFTD x McLaren x Nike Dunk Low SP "Canteen" will be getting a public release, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this three-way partnership, and in related news, the Nike SB Dunk High "277" is inspired by Magnus Walker's 1971 Porsche 911!
