The UNINTERRUPTED x Nike LeBron 17 "More Than An Athlete" Aims To Empower

Following the release of their Air Force 1 collab earlier this year, basketball icon LeBron James has reunited with the Swoosh to introduce the UNINTERRUPTED x Nike LeBron 17 “More Than An Athlete”. Complete with quirky details, modern accents, and exclusive technology, this shoe aims to empower athletes everywhere.

Dressed in the same colourway as the aforementioned AF1, the electric blue upper is contrasted with black accents and white soles. The ankle cuff is reminiscent of a crown offering a nod to LeBron’s “King James” status, while the laces come with not one, but two interchangeable lace guards. With one blue and one white guard, both adorned with “More Than an Athlete” slogan embroidery, it’s up to you which colour you don – or remove it completely to expose the original lace-up design.

Fitted with Nike’s signature AIR unit that delivers bounce and comfort, the midsole is crafted from an extra-special fabric that allows you to draw any design you want – with the pack’s bespoke Sharpies – and rub it off when you get bored. Inspired by LeBron’s own tendency to step onto the court having scribbled affirmations on his sneakers, you can get as creative as you like with this pair.

Staying in line with the rest of the shoe, the Nike Swoosh logo at the side looks as though it has been personally drawn on by the brand, adopting a rough-and-ready look as opposed to its usual structured design.

The UNINTERRUPTED x Nike LeBron 17 “More Than an Athlete” is due to drop on the Nike webstore on Christmas Day – December 25th.
