What's cooking over at Union LA? Just hours after the hotly anticipated Union LA x Nike Dunk Low "Argon" got a release date, a fourth Union LA x Nike Cortez surfaces out of the blue, and this time, it's painted in a perfect pastel palette that's made for the spring and summer seasons ahead.
Unveiled by sneaker insider @apolloluo1976, ULA's fourth Cortez colourway is as sweet as it gets. Working on top of a pink and purple mesh base, clean cream suede panels wrap around the entire upper, while soft yellow accents add a further pop of contrast to the shoe. Matching lilac laces tie everything together, while a full cork insole offers a sustainable finish.

But wait, there's more. A Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while Union's signature Frontman character can be found around the heel. Their iconic "UN/LA" tag is stitched on the lacing system, while a lace lock that reads "Cortez '72" nods to the silhouette's 50th birthday. This all comes packaged in a special edition shoebox that's definitely one for the collectors out there.
If the release of the Union LA x Nike Cortez "White" is anything like ULA's Dunk drop, each of the colourways will go live a few weeks apart from each other. Most likely exclusive to the Union LA webstore, a wider launch is expected to arrive later in the year. Let us know which of the four pairs you're feeling the most, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 "Rattan"!
