Believe it or not, we first caught a glimpse of the Yeezy 700 V2 'Tephra' all the way back in May 2018. First dubbed the 'Grey Gum' and then the 'Cement', the 'Tephra' has gone through a ton of name changes over the past year, but one thing that hasn't changed is the hype surrounding this release.
Painted in an ultra unique palette that comprises of grey, white, brown, and black, the 'Tephra' is crafted from a premium combination of leather and suede. Marking the eight Yeezy 700 colourway and the fifth one this year, it sits atop a blacked Boost-infused midsole which is finished off with a tough and durable gum rubber outsole underneath.
While it bears a striking resemblance to the Yeezy 700 v2 'Geode', upon further inspection you'll find that the Yeezy 700 V2 'Tephra' is totally different. According to sneaker insiders Yeezy Mafia, it's set to drop on June 15th - that's just over a month from now!
