After ten months of dropping relatively understated colourways, it looks like Kanye West is about to go all out with the wackiness very soon. Just yesterday we got a sneak peek of the Yeezy Basketball Knit "3D Slate Blue", and now less than 24 hours later, we're taking our first ever look at the Yeezy 700 V3 "Copper Fade", and we honestly think it's Ye's craziest pair yet.
How Mr West thinks of colour schemes for his Yeezys is a question beyond any form of scientific explanation, but the "Copper Fade" takes this to a whole other level. The upper works on top of a bold orange Primeknit base while a glow-in-the-dark RPU cage wraps around it in a rib cage-inspired fashion. A dark brown inner sockliner adds to the earthiness of the 700, while stark black laces inject even more contrast to the design.
If you thought that was unique, wait until you check out the midsole. Unlike the V1 and the V2, the V3 drops the adidas Boost technology in favour of EVA foam which is pretty comfortable in its own right. This is housed within a sleek unit that fades from a dark blue to a vibrant orange at the heel. This gradient effect has never been done before on previous colourways before, so it's pretty cool to see Ye trying new things.
Set to land sometime in December, the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Copper Fade" is unlike anything we've seen before. Let us know what you think of this crazy colourway, and while you're here, here are October's Yeezy releases ranked from least to most hyped!
