Following the release of the "Yecheil", we're now taking a sneak peek at the upcoming Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Utility Black". Images courtesy of sneaker insider @yeezyinfluence, who also brought us early shots of the Yeezy 500 "Soft Vision" earlier this year, this stealthy new colourway is supposedly dropping next year, and we're taking our first look yet!
Featuring more or less the same design as the "Black" that restocked last month, the "Utility Black" is not quite "Triple Black", but it's painted in a dark charcoal like the 500 and 700 releases of the same name. Featuring a Primeknit upper for a comfortable sock-like fit, a mesh stripe runs down the lateral side panel, just like Kanye West's more recent releases.
Around the heel, the pull tab could potentially be making a comeback without the red stitching, and down below is where all the magic happens. Featuring the iconic ribbed shape that we all know and love, the midsole houses a full bed of Boost for cushioning and response like nothing else out there.
This is then lined with gum rubber for durable traction with every step. Providing a very subtle yet striking pop of contrast, even more colour is injected when you look at the outsole itself. While Ye could've just kept it brown, a dash of yellow features on the heel for an even more intriguing aesthetic.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Utility Black". Whether this is an early sample or simply a fake remains to be seen, but our sources tell us that a 2020 drop is imminent. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, take an on foot look at the Yeezy Boost 380 "Mist"!
