Back in April, we unveiled that a Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Mauve" was in the works. While many of you didn't actually believe us, we're now taking our first look yet at the colourway in question, and while it's not exactly what we had in mind we still think this is a must-have in its own right.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Geode" from 2019, the second edition "Mauve" boasts an extremely earthy colour palette. Working on top of a breathable mesh base, 3M stripes shoot across the lateral and medial side panels of the Yeezy while dark grey leather panels wrap around the upper for a contrasted look, giving us serious "Tephra" vibes.
Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a highly-sculpted adidas Boost midsole that's as chunky as it gets. While this 700 V2 forgoes the neon green ovals that could be found on 2018's "Mauve", it does keep the gum rubber outsole which can be found underfoot, finalising the design.
Now there's a huge chance that the final design of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Mauve" can change, but we can't imagine by much. If you didn't get a chance to cop the OG from three years ago then this is the perfect substitute. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "MX Rock"!
