Another day, another shoe rumoured to be joining the Yeezy line-up. The next couple of weeks are looking stacked for Kanye West’s brand, and now it looks like the Yeezy Foam Runner "MX Sand Grey" could be launching later this year too.
Like most of the previous Yeezy Foam Runner (or YZY FOAM RNNR) variations, the "MX Sand Grey" follows a neutral colour scheme, although this time it's dressed in a clay marbled print with hints of pink for subtle pops of colour. Darker than the previous "MX Cream Clay" and "Moon Grey" Foam Runner, the "MX Sand Grey" offers darker hues for the wintery season ahead, whilst still being an easy-to-style colourway that’s perfect for days spent indoors and guaranteed to work with the cosiest loungewear outfits.
The "MX Sand Grey" colourway represents a work-in-progress piece of clay work, which speaks to the moulded design of the shoe. The Foam Runner, which is actually made of a moulded mix of EVA and harvested algae, is shaped as a single piece of foam, with added holes across the upper for ventilation. Underfoot, the foam soles provide cushioning and comfort, and a ridged footbed allows for extra grip.
The "MX Sand Grey" adidas Yeezy Foam Runner is set to drop sometime this December, so make sure to keep your eye on adidas CONFIRMED for a launch date.
In other Yeezy news, the Yeezy 500 could be releasing in "Ash Grey."
