Whilst the Yeezy Foam Runner took a while to win around the sneakerheads, the slip-on clog seems to have finally found its footing. Having surfaced in a “Navy” colourway already this year, the shoe is set to drop in a dark grey colour too, in the Yeezy Foam Runner “Onyx.”
As with previous iterations of the Yeezy Foam Runner, the shoe comes crafted from a mix of EVA foam and algae for a more sustainable approach. The grey “Onyx” colourway covers the entirety of the clog, unlike the shades seen on the “MX Sand Grey” and “Moon Grey” versions that dropped previously.
As with previous colourways, the name refers to naturally occurring materials, which speaks to the moulded design of the shoe. The mould here doesn’t change from previous versions, with the “Onyx” Foam Runner featuring the same perforated upper, foam soles and ridged footbed we’ve come to expect from the silhouette.
