The Yeezy x GAP Collection is Reportedly Releasing Next Month

Few notable collabs of recent times have seen near as much hype as what Yeezy x Gap is continually generating. First teased back in June of 2020, the collab instantly piqued the interest of the streetwear community and has continued to do so through to the present day. Luckily for all of us, it appears our wait is almost over as Business of Fashion has reported the line is on track to be released before the end of June.

Delving deep behind the scenes, Bloomberg revealed that German bank UBS Group AG have given Yeezy x Gap an estimated value of $970 million. While this whopping sum isn't exactly anything to turn their nose up at, Gap has revealed they're hoping to emulate the success of Yeezy's adidas sneakers which generated $1.7 billion in revenue in 2020 alone.

Like for many retailers during the pandemic, times have been tough over at Gap. The company closed 255 stores and even reported an 18% overall loss during August, so it's no surprise they've got high hopes for the upcoming collab with Kanye.
