These Stitched up adidas Samba LT Scream Wales Bonner From Every Angle

adidas Originals keeps reimagining its most iconic sports designs, bringing new energy to timeless classics. Just in time for summer, the fashion forward label has unveiled two new colourways of the Samba LT (long tongue), featuring x stitching on the signature 3 Stripes for a modern look.

The enduring influence of Grace Wales Bonner and her celebrated collaborations with adidas has undoubtedly shaped how we perceive the Samba today. Her experimental designs helped revive the Samba’s status as a cultural and style icon, and many of her innovative touches now carry over into adidas’ mainline releases. While not another collab, the latest version of the Samba LT features detailed stitching, a thoughtful touch that’s reminiscent of Bonner’s creative legacy.

This reimagined Samba LT features the brand’s classic trefoil logo prominently displayed on the extended tongue, framed by contrasting edge stitching. The stitching also extends to the 3 Stripes branding, adding both visual interest and structural reinforcement. The leather uppers are available in two refined colourways: “Off White” and “Core Black,” with contrasting accents offering a sophisticated balance. Meanwhile, the signature "Gum Five" sole unit stays true to the Samba’s classic design, allowing the updated upper to take center stage.

The LT version of the Samba has recently been reintroduced through collaborations with creatives like Wales Bonner, serving as a canvas for storytelling and artistic expression.
