The adidas Samba has a steeped heritage within the world of football, having originally been designed for use indoors and on frozen pitches. The Three Stripes itself has also historically been the brand of choice for footie fans everywhere, as well as the go-to manufacturer for many a football kit. For its latest take on the model, the German giant looks to celebrate its connection to the beautiful game with a collection of Sambas that celebrate the brand’s partnership with the Mexican Football Federation.
The collection sees six unique Sambas that pull from the federation's adidas jerseys, and will be super limited as each pair is 1 of 1. The designs reach back into the adidas archives, drawing from classics such as the 2008 Mexico Home Jersey, 2014 World Cup Home Jersey, and the new Mexico 22 Away Jersey to name but a few.
If you’re looking to cop one of these super-limited pairs, then you’ll need to head over to the adidas CONFIRMED app to get your raffle entry in ahead of the 16th of October. They’ll be a tricky cop, but it's totally worth it to own a small part of football history.
Up next, we asked football casuals for their thoughts on the designer terrace shoe trend.
