Are you ready to take your best look yet at the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Mono Clay"? Taking the beloved 350 V2 and completely deconstructing it to its core, this is the biggest revamp the silhouette has seen since the 2016's "Beluga". Whether you're a fan or not is another question, but there's no doubt that Kanye West's latest release is a technical marvel, and here's why.
Over the past few years the Yeezy has always relied on Primeknit as its upper material, but for the upcoming "Mono Pack" things are about to chance. When the "Static" was first unveiled at the end of 2018, sneakerheads everywhere were stunned by the material used on the lateral stripe. Lightweight, breathable, yet pretty hard-wearing. Fast forward three years and now this monofilament mesh is being used for the entire upper, and the results are truly breathaking.
Perfect for the sizzling summer months ahead, the see through construction allows you to check out the newly developed internal cage that bears a striking resemblance to the 450 Slide. This extends from front to back, while the usual stripe can still be seen across the sidewalls. Matte plastic eyelets hold the laces together, and around the back you'll find a transparent heel tab that reflects the one found on the "Friends & Family" edition that was showcased last year.
Of course, you can't talk about this shoe without mentioning the ribbed midsole underfoot. Infused with adidas Boost technology, this offers up unparalleled comfort and cushioning with every single step.
Expected to drop alongside three others including the "Mono Cinder", the "Mono Ice", and the "Mono Mist", the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Mono Clay" will hit shelves on June 21st! Let us know which colourway you're feeling the most, and while you're here, you might as well take a look at the Yeezy DSRT Boot in "Taupe Blue"!
