This Architect Has Teamed Up With ASICS For Futuristic Silhouette

A known master of layering and unexpected fabrication, world-famous Japanese architect and lecturer, Kengo Kuma, has teamed up with ASICS to create a new Metaride AMU style. The finished product is minimalist and bold in equal measure and the environmentally friendly design was crafted using traditional Japanese bamboo techniques.

A functional running shoe and an undeniable architectural success, the Metaride AMU is crafted from tight performance knit that hugs the foot for the perfect fit. Overlaid with synthetic straps that are carefully placed to stabilise the foot, the midsole ensured comfort and support.

Made from sustainable fabrics and unusual textiles, this shoe is a lesson in modernity, uniqueness and technological advancements. Set to drop on the 20th December, the Kengo Kuma x ASICS Metaride AMU will be released exclusively in Japan via the ASICS website.
