There's no doubt in any sneakerhead's mind that the Dunk Low is the hottest silhouette of 2021. Even if you're not the biggest fan of the basketball model, you have to admit that it's the pair that's been on everyone's lips since the beginning of the year, and it looks like we won't be stopping anytime soon as we take our first glimpse of the Nike Dunk Low "Ice"!
With the holiday season coming just around the corner, the Beaverton brand's Winter Wonderland themed sneaker couldn't come at a better time. Bearing a striking resemblance to the Sean Cliver x Nike SB Dunk Low that launched late last year, this special colourway works on top of a plush base while crushed velvet panels gently wrap around the heel, toebox, and lacing system.
If you haven't spotted already, the entire shoe is decorated with cute little details that are an ode to Christmas traditions. From kids sleighing on the lateral side to a banner surrounding the Nike badge around the back, the insole is also adorned with the Chinese character for "ice" which is a cool detail (pun intended).
As if that wasn't enough, the rubber outsole underfoot is sprinkled with snowflakes to give off a snowing effect. This is similar to what they did on the StrangeLove Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low, which coincidentally, was also made made by the Sean Cliver. We wonder if he had a hand in designing this colourway!
A launch date has yet to be officially announced for the Nike Dunk Low "Winter Wonderland", so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more release info as it develops! Let us know what you think of this limited edition pair, and in related news, the Nike Dunk Low "Toasty Pack" is here to bring the heat!
