When most of us think of Palace's back catalogue, images of vibrant Tri-Fergs, eye-catching logos and loud colours likely spring to mind, but that's not to say the London-born skate imprint doesn't have subtlety in its repertoire. In collaboration, nanamica and Palace have readied a concise collection of apparel, combining distinctive motifs from both brands.
Known for its subdued take on essentials, Japan's own nanamica has perfected its outwear blueprint over the last 20 years, delivering a number of signature styles in its wake. For this latest release, we see the duo reimagine hooded coats, coach jackets, down styles, hoodies, tees and caps.
The use of materials such as GORE-TEX and KODENSHI down features prominently across the outerwear portion of the collection, effortlessly highlighting nanamica's knack for quality construction. Design direction arrives courtesy of Palace, with the brand choosing to embrace nanamica's usual placid aesthetic with the addition of co-branded details.
Colours arrive suited to the cooler seasons, with shades of dark navy, olive, sage green and grey all working in unison to provide a multitude of pairing options. For those looking to get their hands on the Palace x nanamica collection, it will be available online via nanamica's website on the 7th of October.
