Three Reasons Why You Need to Join the adidas Samba Revival

It's been a whopping 72 years since the adidas Samba stepped out on the world stage, and since that point, it has been adopted by a number of subcultures. From the football community to the casual fans, all the way to skateboarders, the Samba has traversed the cultural plains to become iconic in its own right.

In recent times, the Samba has seen somewhat of a reprisal within both streetwear and high-fashion communities, partially due to collaborations with the likes of Wales Bonner. As we mentioned, the Samba was produced by the 3-Striped brand all the way back in 1950. With football in mind, the shoe was designed to enable players to wear it in icy and cold conditions with its suction-designed gum sole, and ever since, the gum sole has remained a prominent design feature.

Sat atop its iconic gum sole, the Samba boasts a low-cut construction with either suede or leather uppers. On the lateral walls, you'll note adidas' signature 3-Stripes motif, backed up by the brand's Trefoil on the tongue. In line with tradition, a gold foil "Samba" imprint sits next to the rear stripe. In addition, Sambas arrive a number of colourways, ensuring you always have a pair to match every outfit!
