Umbro Joins The Dad Shoe Race With The UmRunner

Trends are such strange things, aren't they? One minute, something can be old and dated, and just a few minutes later, they're the biggest fashion statement of the year. Whether you like it or not, the 'dad shoe' trend is here to stay, and the latest brand looking to challenge Balenciaga's current reign is British sportswear label Umbro.

Images courtesy of Instagram user myunghwan2, the UmRunner feature a playful and vibrant colourway of purple, yellow, mint, navy, and grey, and is constructed of a premium combination of  leather and mesh. A rugged rubber outsole adds to the normcore vibe, and Umbro branding on the tongue and lateral side round off the design of the UmRunner.

Although we pretty much know nothing about the Umbro UmRunner, it's slated to drop sometime in the very near future. What do you think of Umbro's entry to the dad shoe race?
