Unheardof has officially lifted the lid on the Piggy Runner 2.0, a bold sequel to last year’s cult-favourite Cushion 3 collab that helped put Cincinnati’s finest on the global sneaker map.
Cincinnati was once dubbed the Paris of America, a mid-20th century retail mecca where names like Macy’s and Shillito’s drew fashion-savvy crowds from across the country. Fast forward to 2026, and it’s Cincinnati’s own Unheardof crashing the real Paris, this time with the Piggy Runner 2.0.
This time, founder Philip Lipschutz trades tonal pinks for punchy greens, with eye-popping pink accents across the stripes, outsole and branding, keeping the OG’s spirit alive while taking the chaos in a new direction.
Revealed exclusively during Paris Fashion Week (and yes, we were there for the in-hand shots), the pair reimagines the adidas Adistar Control 5, a silhouette adidas has been quietly reintroducing to the cultural conversation, with Unheardof now joining a line-up that includes Sporty & Rich and Larry June.
Faux pig-hair textures, piggy branding on the tongue and heel, even that unmistakable Porkopolis backstory all ground the shoe in Unheardof’s signature storytelling: wild, weird, and totally wearable.
The original “Piggy” drop was maddeningly limited, a tactical move that’s now fuelled the hype for this sequel, which is rumoured to be more widely available come early 2026.
With no official release date just yet, we’d advise keeping a close eye on Unheardof’s socials and adidas channels. Because if the streets of Paris are anything to go by, this pig’s ready to fly again.
