If you didn't know, Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis is the person responsible for bringing back the now-famous New Balance 550 in 2020. And not long ago, we also saw Santis revive its high-top sibling, the 650, which we saw in four collegiate colours. This time, images of what appear to be unreleased sample colourways of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R have surfaced online.
Images courtesy of sneaker insiders @secluded_garden and sneaker store @retroshoparis show three varying colourways of the ALD New Balance 650R: "Grey", "Red", "Blue", with all three hues embracing the entire leather sidewalls of the model and leaving the mesh collars and toe box in white.

Of course, the high-top retro basketball shoes wouldn't be complete without the "650" imprint towards the lateral toes, New Balance's "N" logo on the sides, and Aimé Leon Dore's signature basketball logo stamped on the heels.
While there is further information regarding the new Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R sample colourways, we suggest you check back here at The Sole Supplier to stay in the know of all the latest New Balance drop dates.
