Up Close With The Nike Air Max 97 'London Summer Of Love'

When we first saw the Nike Air Max 97 'London Summer Of Love' back in May 2018, we literally couldn't take our eyes off it. Designed by London-based visual artist Jasmine Lasode, it's set to drop this Saturday, April 13th at 8am over at at Nike UK, and it's going to be one of the hottest releases of the year!

Painted in an eye-catching multicoloured palette, Lasode takes advantage of the AM97's layered design, decking the top half in a vibrant orange with green, white, and blue waves flowing gracefully underneath. An intriguing “97P” text runs around the entire upper, while “Good Chat” text features on the pull tabs.

Celebrating summer in the city and love, with a personal memory – a first date spent on Primrose Hill – as her inspiration, the 'London Summer Of Love' is rounded off with a full length Air unit that fades from yellow to red, completing the breath taking design.

The Nike Air Max 97 'London Summer Of Love' is set to join five other distinctive styles to form the On Air collection. Arguably one of the best drops of 2019, it'll launch this Saturday, April 13th at 8am over at at Nike UK.
