The Yeezy Boost 350 has got to be one of the most iconic sneakers in history. Made in partnership between Kanye West and adidas, it made its debut in 2015 and arguably changed the industry forever. With that said, we're now getting up close and personal with the original Yeezy Boost 350 "Turtle Dove" as well as a suede sample that never saw the light of day.

Images courtesy of sneaker insiders @davidnuern and @seabass_photos, the OG "Turtle Dove" looks more-or-less the same from an aesthetics standpoint, but completely inverts the colour scheme. Instead of the white pair that we got, the "TD" was originally painted in black with a clean adidas Boost midsole underneath, bearing a striking resemblance to the "Asriel" that's scheduled to drop this summer.
The classic pull tab is stitched around the heel, and rounding it all off is the legendary suede patch that adorns the medial side panel, finely debossed with Yeezy branding in all caps.
Speaking of suede, the sneakerhead duo also showcased the suede variant as well. Borrowing elements from the "Pirate Black", this version switches out the Primeknit upper for a pigskin construction that's buttery smooth to the touch. Red stitching makes its way to the back, providing a striking pop of contrast on an otherwise monotone hue.
There are absolutely no plans for either of these adidas Yeezy Boost 350s to drop, but it's interesting to see what could have been. Let us know if you would've copped them, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Cinder" is getting a limited restock this weekend!
