The Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 is regarded by many sneakerheads to be one of the hottest collaborations ever made. The brainchild of the New York-based contemporary artist, it currently resells for around £2,500, with its value increasing day by day. Now, with the restock imminent, we're taking our best look yet at the re-released version, and there are a few tweaks here and there that are definitely worth talking about.
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @wavegod_thelegend, this version is being dubbed the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 3.0, but we're not entirely sure if it'll end up with this moniker upon release. Featuring more or less the same design, the tongue has been slightly reworked so it's not as pronounced, and the indented symbols along the midsole have been slightly altered.
It also has a brand new model code, and according to your sources, will be available in pretty limited quantities - 8,000 pairs to be exact. While this may sound pretty limited, for a sneaker of this calibre to even get a restock is a miracle, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
Making a comeback very soon, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news on the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 restock as it develops! Let us know if you're hoping for a pair, and what you think of the Nike collab in general!
