Regarded by many as the most influential artist of our time, the late David Bowie has made a lasting impact in today's music, fashion, and cultural industries. Now, Vans is hoping to channel this with a brand new collaboration that builds on four of their most iconic sneaker silhouettes.
Comprising of the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, Era, and Slip-On 47 V DX, the first two pay homage to Bowie's alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, utilising the signature lightning bolt motifs. The Era, on the other hand, is influenced by Space Oddity, featuring an all-over print reminiscent of the album's cover. Finally, the Slip-On 47 V DX is an ode to Hunky Dory, painting the shoe in a vibrant yellow hue and mixing it up with a checkerboard faux fur.
