Verdy’s Gift Shop is touching down at Dover Street Market London this Friday and trust us, this is one you won’t want to miss.
The Japanese graphic artist, known for cult projects like Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, and his beloved characters Vick and Visty, is taking over London with a partnership that’s part pop‑up and part art installation.
Taking over Dover Street Market London, Verdy and friends will be dropping some exclusive releases and special collaborations through a series of weekly releases. The pop-up will be taking place in the DSM Basement whilst an art installation will take over the ground floor of this London landmark to offer an experience that feels like stepping right into Verdy’s world.
Kicking off this takeover on August 8th will be a number of DSM exclusive releases from Verdy’s own brands, including VERDY, Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth. These are then set to be followed up by even more releases on the 14th August and 21st August, including collaborations with brands such as New Balance, Beats by Dre and Alake Shilling.
Select items will also be available on the DSML E‑SHOP from Monday 11th August, but fair warning, everything is in limited quantities and will move fast. Tickets for in‑store purchases will be handed out at the door, with queues starting from 9am on launch day.
