The adidas Rivalry Lo is an adidas silhouette that’s often overlooked by many, and quite frankly, we’re not sure why! Released in 1986 during the heyday of the NBA, the Rivalry was adidas’ answer to Michael Jordan and Nike’s newly-founded partnership. While it never quite took off to the same extent, the Rivalry is still an epic sneaker in its own right that’s more than worthy of a place in your collection!
For 2020 the three-stripe brand is pushing the legendary model once again, with a plethora of colourways set to launch to the masses. Seen here is a fresh new take on the model that pays homage to the Superstar via a superimposed graphic.
If you’re looking for an all-round premium pair, then look no further, as the Rivalry Lo ticks all the boxes. The uppers are crafted entirely from premium leather for a look that will age beautifully over time, while three stripe branding runs down each side for a timeless look. Additional branding is present at the tongue and heel in the form of a trefoil logo.
Beneath the feet, adidas adds a one-of-a-kind look to this pair via a unique pre-distressed sole. Made to look won-in and yellowed, the midsole conceals modern-day adidas cushioning to ensure that you’ll want to slip into these day after day! Could these be your next pair of daily steppers?
If you’re looking to pick up a pair of these vintage-inspired sneakers, the good news is that they’re available right now via the adidas website! Head over and grab your size now, these are certainly one of our favourite recent pairs. Remember to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier and while you’re here check out how to cop the Parley x adidas Ultra Boost!
