Article Updated 9th January 2026: Fresh off the press, we finally have our first official preview of the Levi's x Jordan 3 lookbook including official product images and we can confirm it was definitely worth waiting for. The campaign is fronted by none other than Spike Lee, who is the perfect choice for such an iconic Jordan Brand collaboration.
After months of quiet teasers and paparazzi sightings (yes, we clocked those AJ3s early), the full campaign is now out in the open. It centres around three denim-clad Air Jordan 3s (in black, indigo, and sail colourways) backed by an apparel capsule that blends Levi’s workwear DNA with Jordan’s classic heritage.
We're super excited for this collab to drop and The Sole Supplier team highly rate the classic Navy colourway alongside the jacket. For your best chance to cop, head over to The Sole Supplier App or set a release reminder below.
Original Article: Sometimes, a collaboration comes along that just feels right. When Levi's and Jordan Brand team up, you know you're getting something rooted in workwear heritage and basketball legend. Now, following the buzz of the Denim Black Sail version, the spotlight has swung to the upcoming Levi's x Air Jordan 3 "Sail", thanks to Lil Yachty leaking the photos on Instagram. Guess what? It’s shaping up to be the cleanest, most desirable release of the collection.
The Air Jordan 3 is iconic, usually defined by its stark elephant print overlays. This new sneaker throws out the rulebook and replaces that classic pattern with a material you rarely see on a Jordan: faux pony hair. This shaggy, tan texture covers the toe and the heel, immediately giving the shoe a luxurious, yet raw, feel.
The main body of the upper isn't just standard canvas; it's a full construction of sail coloured denim. This creamy, off white fabric gives the shoe a beautiful, pre aged patina right out of the box, making it look like a piece you’ve cherished for years. This combination of textures; rugged denim against the softer hair; is what elevates this design from a simple colour change to a masterful remix. Beyond the main fabric story, the designers have included subtle, but important, contrasts. The lace panel is made of crisp, perforated white leather, maintaining that familiar, high quality Jordan feel. Peeking out from the back, you find a small but impactful detail: a hit of deep burgundy on the heel panel. It’s a moment of rich colour that keeps the creamy white from washing out the look.
We’ve also got confirmation that the heel will feature the iconic "Nike Air" branding. For true fans of the Air Jordan 3, this is nonnegotiable; it confirms the shoe is a proper retro effort, not just a lifestyle model.
Not a fan of the white ponyhair colourway? Spike Lee just gave us our first glimpse of the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 “Black Denim” during the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Black Cinema & Television. This washed-out version will reportedly arrive alongside the earlier White colourway, marking the next chapter in the iconic Levi’s x Jordan link-up.
Seeing an early glimpse of the collab confirms a release is coming in Spring 2026. Set to retail for £190, this pair is already building huge anticipation.
