Yoon Ahn Teases An AMBUSH x Converse Collaboration

Back in November, we got a closer look at the AMBUSH x Nike Air Max 180. Featuring a boot-like design with a waterproof material, the shoe was extremely well received. Now, Yoon Ahn is back with yet another collab, this time with none other than Converse!

Taking to Instagram, the shoe builds on the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, painted in an ultra clean all-white colourway. According to the South Korean fashion designer, the high top silhouette is “inspired by vintage military winter boots Converse used to produce for US military.”

This influence can be seen via the Chuck Taylor's rugged rubber construction, as well as black text across the upper which offers a deconstructed aesthetic. To round it all off, "AMBUSH"; branding in black adorns the heel, while Converse's signature star motif hits the medial sides.
