The New Balance 327 is having a real moment right now, and the silhouette’s new-found popularity has not gone unnoticed. Having already acted as the canvas for collabs by STAUD, Casablanca and size?, the sneaker is now set to receive a makeover from a frequent collaborator in the sneaker scene, Japanese store, atmos. The atmos x New Balance 327 “Realtree Camo” is set to release at the end of January, so let’s take a closer look at the sneaker.
The atmos “Realtree Camo” 327 takes on a bright and bold camo and orange colourway, which gives the sneaker some real outdoors-y vibes. The choice of camo print makes absolute sense, as atmos are known for their penchant for animal prints and camos, and the woodland-inspired graphics on Realtree camo is known for being a firm fave amongst outdoor enthusiasts, and has enjoyed a number of streetwear co-signs over the years too. The camo print takes over the majority of the base of the sneaker, whilst contrasting orange overlays add a pop of colour, the shade also appearing on an added pull tab that isn’t usually seen on the silhouette.
Elsewhere, the “Realtree Camo” atmos x NB 327’s large New Balance “N” logo comes constructed from black nubuck, and a rough-and-ready-looking hairy brown suede is wrapped around the heel of the sneaker. Underfoot, a white midsole comes topped with a grippy black outsole, and the pair are then finished with a co-branded tab on the tongue of the sneaker.
The “Realtree Camo” atmos x New Balance 327 looks set to release exclusively on atmos on January 29, with a wider release planned at New Balance later down the line. Until they drop, be sure to download our app to stay up to date with all the latest news and releases.
