Throw the rulebook out the window. Young Thug just entered the chat, to completely dismantle the adidas Originals archive. His Atlanta born powerhouse, SP5DER, is currently taking a sledgehammer to the adidas Originals archives, and the results look nothing like your standard Three Stripes collaboration.
This partnership bypasses the usual heritage tribute, opting instead for a high gloss, punk inspired hijacking of a footwear legend.

The Superstar Supermodified serves as the canvas here, but the German giant basically handed the keys over to the punk inspired imprint. We aren't looking at basic leather; this duo opted for premium patent leather uppers.
Instead of a smooth finish, the entire surface features a debossed spider web motif. It’s the kind of texture that catches the light in a dark club and demands a double take.
The collection lands in two distinct flavours. The black iteration offers a stealthy, tonal look, while the vibrant red pair provides enough pop to stop traffic on Oxford Street.
The real magic, however, lies in the customisation. Every pair comes stuffed with thick, extra laces to let you tinker with the look.
For too long, the silhouette has played it safe. By pushing the stripes toward the toe and drowning the shoe in patent webs, this collaboration proves that adidas isn't afraid to let creators actually create.
If you want to beat the bots, mark your calendar for 27th February. The initial prelaunch happens exclusively at KINGSPIDER.CO. For everyone else, the global rollout hits on 3rd March. Given the cult following behind Thugger’s label, these won’t sit on shelves for long.
